A Wizarding World Favorite (Entry #4)
We all have that one movie that gives us a sense of comfort and a homey feeling. Many of you must be familiar with the incredible movie series, "Harry Potter". It is a huge fan favorite of eight movies in total. Each one lasts a little over two hours long! We become very emotionally attached to not just the characters but to the setting as well. This extremely thrilling series gives everybody a place to call home. It allows for us to escape reality for just a bit.
The entire Harry Potter series is a cinematic masterpiece. It is quite the experience that many movies don't offer. If you've watched it before, you know how much detail was put into it to create a whole other world like no other. This carries a huge fanbase across the continents and has inspired merchandise products, theme park attractions, and even food made in the movies. Universal Studios has this wizarding world in its own section of the theme park. Although this series was started back in 2001, it has grown to be one of the greatest creations in the film industry. I'd like to think it was ahead of its time! Of course it was all props and effects, but it looked very realistic and that is one of the many things I enjoy about them. They stayed consistent with the storyline as well as their actors which kept the audience right where they were.
The Harry Potter series brings you into an unknown world that one could call home. We have all wanted to escape reality at some point- into a universe that would be so amazing to be part of, rather than the world we live in today. From spells and wands, to best friendships and family, Harry Potter and its thrilling magic brings the best into OUR world.
Stay tuned,

ReplyDeleteMe and my younger sister are Harry Potter fans as well, and we love the entire franchise. We have not made it to Universal Studios to see that yet, but it is on our to-do list eventually. I agree that it is known and loved worldwide as well.
ReplyDeleteMy brothers and I would watch the Harry Potter marathons on live tv. We would always create good memories from these movies. It flows really well and this was a great topic. Keep up the great work.
ReplyDeleteI loved this entry. Harry Potter is my household's comfort movie. I recently bought the "floating magic" candles and hung them in my entryway for Halloween decor. My kids wanted wands immediately after they watched the movie. It definitely is a great escape from reality.
