This has circled around me for a couple of months now. The struggles of being a college student athlete are real and challenging. From anyone else's point of view, it doesn't sound too bad. Sometimes it isn't but when it does catch up, it tends to impact a lot. There are many pros and cons of being a student athlete, and each side has a great effect on us. Many athletes wake up and go to practice, the important part of this is, are they eating a proper breakfast beforehand? Are they hydrating and getting the right amount of sleep to function well the next day? Are they putting themselves first and taking care of their body after practice? This is an important aspect to being an athlete that needs to be considered. Aside from that, there is the academic part of it.
